On April 21st, Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu met with Danish Minister of Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jonsen in Beijing. Both sides have in-depth exchanges on topics such as addressing climate change and promoting green and low-carbon development.

   Huang Runqiu thanked the Danfang for their strong support to China as the President of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. He reviewed the good cooperation between the two sides in the field of environment and climate, introduced China's concepts, actions, and achievements in addressing climate change and promoting green and low-carbon development, and looked forward to the results of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. He expressed that China is willing to continue to strengthen communication and exchange with Denmark, jointly promote the implementation of the relevant content of the memorandum of understanding on climate change cooperation between China and Denmark, and jointly build a clean and beautiful world.

   Dan Jonson introduced Denmark's achievements in developing clean energy and other fields, appreciated China's contributions in addressing climate change, and looked forward to deepening practical cooperation with China to jointly address global environmental and climate challenges.
