Jiangxi Yuehua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1968. Its predecessor was Jingdezhen Chemical Fertilizer Plant. In 1985, it changed its name to Jingdezhen No. 1 Chemical Plant, changed its name to Jingdezhen Kaimenzi Pharmaceutical Chemical Co., Ltd. in July 2000, and changed its name to Jiangxi Yuehua Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2014. The company is a wholly-owned state-owned unit, subordinate to Jingdezhen Black Cat Group Co., Ltd., a first-class legal enterprise. The current plant is located in the chemical centralized control zone of Jingdezhen High tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiangxi Province. The main products are Piracetam (piracetam), Sodium methoxide methanol solution, etc., with an average annual production capacity of 2000 tons. The factory covers an area of 310 acres (110 acres in the old factory and 200 acres in the new factory), with 220 current employees, including 68 professional and technical personnel of various types, 14 with intermediate professional titles, and 3 with senior professional titles.

In recent years, the company has independently developed 19 new products, and the main marketable products are: Piracetam (piracetam) α- Pyrrolidone and silicone oil series products. Among them, Piracetam (API) passed the GMP certification in July 2004, and its output is among the best in the industry.
