Hot blast stove is the main auxiliary equipment of blast furnace ironmaking, and burner is the main component of hot blast stove and the heating device of hot blast stove. Whether it works normally or not directly affects whether the hot blast stove can provide enough heat to the lattice brick and provide stable air temperature to the blast furnace.
Main research contents of hot blast stove burner
1) Through the air-gas mixing mode, the reasonable flame length required by different hot blast stoves for combustion is found, and the position of the high-temperature zone in the center of the combustion chamber (vault) is determined. The flame length and the position of the high-temperature zone are obtained from the burner structure, the position, shape and velocity ratio of the air-gas nozzle.
2) Through the aerodynamic characteristics of the burner in the combustion chamber space, the reasonable parameters of the uniform distribution of the high-temperature flue gas flow generated by combustion in the lattice brick plane are found, which provides a basis for the rational design of the burner.
3) Study refractory materials for burners. Through the research, the material matching with the working environment of the burner is found, which not only has high temperature resistance, but also has good thermal shock resistance, so as to ensure that the burner can work stably and long under different working conditions of combustion and air supply.
